Vincenzo Balocchi (1892- 1975) After graduating in engineering, he worked as a director at the Alinari Alinari photographic factory. At the end of the 1920s, having further developed his interest in photography, he established the Istituto Fotocromo Italiano, a firm that specialised in reproducing works of art.
From 1936 until the 1960s, Balocchi was extremely active on the Florentine and national photographic scene, achieving international recognition as a member of the La Bussola photographic group.
